Committee Responsibilities:

  • Youth Pastor evaluation and support

  • Youth Committee

  • Promote Friend’s Colleges to the high schoolers.

  • Support and promote RMYM camping program.

  • Vacation Bible School

  • Teacher recruitment and training

  • Promote Christian Ministries Convention

  • Teacher Appreciation

  • Promote Sunday School

  • Rally Day – Promote children to new classes and recognize teachers, plan picnic

  • Assist in selection of Sunday School curriculum

  • Development of new Christian Education classes as needed.

  • Emphasize missions in classes during Missions Month

  • Nursery

  • Library

Committee Member Responsibilities:

  • Model a vibrant and growing faith in Jesus Christ

  • Depend on the Holy Spirit, not on self-effort

  • Commitment to attend scheduled committee meetings

  • Willingness to work with others to coordinate preschool, childhood, youth and adult education ministries at FDFC.

  • Has a passion to serve Christ and others.

Time Commitment:

  • Attend 2 hour meetings 6 times per year, plus time required to promote or organize selected ministry area.

Length of Commitment:

  • One or two year(s). (Maximum of 6 consecutive years).

Training:

  • No additional training required.
