Purpose:

  • Committee members share observed needs and methods of repair for items related to upkeep of the church buildings and grounds. Members should embrace the belief that the condition of our church buildings and grounds are often the first witness of our love for Jesus.

Committee Activities:

  • The Stewards Committee is responsible for the physical facility of FDFC. Activities and responsibilities relate to maintaining and improving the facility:

  • Employment and supervision of custodial help

  • Maintaining facilities

  • Preparation of budget

  • Developing and overseeing policies relating to the use of facilities

Committee Member Responsibilities:

  • Pray for the work of the committee.

  • Attend any scheduled meeting.

  • Completion of projects as assigned by the chair.

Time Commitment:

  • Varies depending on activities.

Length of Commitment:

  • One or two years (Maximum of 6 consecutive years).

Training:

  • No special training required

Special Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with tools and fixing things a help.
