"Our communication has greatly improved" One of our earliest dates (on communication) I shared with Morris (or my husband) that I got really angry when I discovered a knife with peanut butter laying on the counter, the peanut butter jar and jar of jelly sitting there also. He laughed and laughed, because this was his "snack in the night" and he was concerned about doing it as fast as he could and didn't even realize he left a mess behind. A few days later when I returned from work he said "oh, don't go in the kitchen yet!" I heard him making clean-up noises and then he said "All clear!" And it was. This has been a great lesson for us, because there are things which have made me angry of which he was truly unaware--and the easy answer was simply to let him know. Our communication has greatly improved since the 10 great dates; we talk a lot more and enjoy one another more. Thank you for providing this class!

In our "drive-thru fast food" culture we easily get caught up in the busyness of things and forget what is truly important. That said, the best part about 10 Great Dates for me was the determination to set time aside to build relationship with my spouse. What a novel idea.

Vicky and I had a wonderful time on our "great dates." We were impressed with the idea suggested in the material that the way we became attracted to each other was having fun together. Consequently, that might be a good way to rekindle the relationship. We came away from the experiment glad to have been "forced" to spend an evening a week goofing off. We agree that there is a simple genius to that strategy, and highly recommend promoting that strategy with or without the "Great Dates" material.
