Over twenty years ago Vicky and I gathered up our two small children and settled in Denver to serve at this church. Now our children remember this city only as their home, and we have two grandchildren about the age our little ones were when we began! I have served in three different positions at this church, and have been the pastor since 1986.
Denver is a good location for Vicky and I because we enjoy outdoor recreational activities. We love to hike, ski, canoe, and camp. However, the best reason to serve at First Denver Friends Church is the wonderful congregation that has been our extended family for so long. It is a great privilege to serve as pastor in the context of friends who have grown together in the love of God and each other for such a long time.
